He concludes that sleep is the resting of this part of the body which seems to agree with modern psychology. However his work on the overall cause of sleep while it seems to make sense in his framework is completely wrong. He believes that sleepy is caused by the process of digesting food and drink because he says that those substances evaporate up to the head at that point and then condense making the head heavy and putting us to sleep.
This view is wrong. I found much in the work to be correct in the practical even if it was completely wrong in the theoretical.
